At the heart of the Christian experience of God lies the great celebration of the Eucharist. Preparing children to eat the Body of the Lord and drink the Blood of the Lord for the first time is given special emphasis at St. Paul’s Newman Center. Parents have the privilege and the responsibility of preparing their children for this sacrament. Children need to have celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to celebrating the their First Eucharist. For more information please see our Education & Formation page.
Baptized members are asked to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation during their seventh grade year. The spiritual formation process in preparation for this sacraments includes prayer, learning, small group discussion, and service. Please see our Education & Formation page for more information regarding Youth Confirmation. If you are 18 years of age or older, are a baptized Catholic, and have celebrated the Sacrament of Eucharist but were not confirmed, please email Anthony to begin preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation.
