Welcome!

Fr. Rob Photo Mar 02, 11 28 35 AM (1)

The University of Wyoming Catholic Community was established in 1957 by Bishop Newell. We continue to meet the demands of the Gospel in an academic setting. I look forward to your active engagement in our faith community.

On the website you will find registration information, ministry opportunities, and much more. I welcome the opportunity to meet you face-to-face, and our staff is here to assist you in any way possible.

Together we celebrate the Eucharist, the source and summit of our life, in order to feed the world the real presence of Jesus Christ. We are a people sent to further the Kingdom of God. It is a joy to welcome you to this local community’s mission.

Christ’s Peace,

Fr. Rob, Pastor

Who we are

While our parish exists to serve the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Wyoming, we also have a thriving residential community. In addition to our student members, we currently have about 500 resident family members and are a full sacramental parish. Our goal is to integrate these two communities so that every resident member has a personal relationship with a college student, and every college student can feel like St. Paul’s Newman Center is their home parish.

Who we strive to be

St. Paul’s Newman Center Mission:

As a Catholic Community of Christian disciples filled with gratitude and the Holy Spirit, St. Paul’s Newman Center celebrates and lives the Sacraments. We bring the Gospel to the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Wyoming through vibrant liturgies, hospitality, authentic stewardship, education, formation, empowerment, and support.
