Confirmation Preparation for St. Paul’s and St. Laurence

In the Diocese of Cheyenne, the sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the 7th grade. This year, St. Paul’s Newman Center and St. Laurence O’Toole will be combining preparation for this sacrament. Please see information about preparation for this Sacrament below. Confirmation Date: Friday, April 16, 2027 at 7 pm

 

Sacrament Preparation Requirements

For preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, students must attend weekly youth group which occurs on Sundays from 3:45-4:45 pm. In addition to these weekly gatherings, both students and parents must attend monthly preparation sessions starting in September. These sessions will take place prior to youth group from 2:30-3:30 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 406 S 19th St. The fall dates for these sessions can be found below.

Please note: If you child is older than 7th grade and would like to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, please still fill out the registration information below. If you child is in high school, formation sessions will be Sundays from 6-7:30 pm starting September 13th.
