We will be going to have lunch in the park with Christ in the City next Saturday (October 8th) in Denver, Colorado. Christ in the City’s mission is to create a culture of encounter, where each person is seen, known, and loved. They are focused on encountering the poor consistently, making friendships, and changing lives. As a way to support their mission, we are collecting donation to bring down with us. If you are able, please bring items by the Newman Center office before Tuesday at 3 pm. Some items to donate are listed below, but underwear and socks are of especial need! For more information about Christ in the City, please visit their webpage. If you would like to go with us next Saturday, please RSVP using this link.
