Direct Service to University of Wyoming Students
The mission of St. Paul’s Newman Center is to bring the Gospel to the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Wyoming. We do this through vibrant liturgies, hospitality, authentic stewardship, education, formation, empowerment and support. It’s our hope that every resident member of our community has a direct relationship with a college student. Below are three ways to serve them:

There is still time to donate toward the Wyoming Legacy Quilt Raffle. The Playtime Quilters created this lovely piece and donated to SPNC to be raffled at Homecoming 2019. The quilt is valued at $1200 and tickets will be sold for $25 a piece or 5 for $100 after the Sunday Liturgies. All proceeds will go toward student scholarships\ for campus ministry retreats and mission trips.

Cowboy Catholic
CC is a weekly education and social experience for students. They typically meet on Wednesday nights in Bishop Newell Hall and cover specific faith-related topics. If you are interested in helping to facilitate an evening, there are opportunities available.
Please email Lillie with your interest.

Host a Student
This ministry pairs a resident parishioner with a student parishioner for the school year. It helps to foster a sense of community between parishioners of all ages and provides our students with a “home away from home.” Sign up for this ministry occurs in the fall, but if you are interested in learning more please email Sandra.

Sunday Supper Preparation
Sunday Supper is a community event that is offered approximately every week during the school year after the Sunday 5:00 p.m. Liturgy. It’s an opportunity for food and fellowship! We feed more than 100 students at these meals and need help in the kitchen for prep, serving during the dinner, and clean-up afterwards. If you are interested in helping with Sunday Suppers, please email Lillie.
