Pope Francis
The Holy Father, Pope Francis, celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood on December 13. The Catholic faithful are being invited to pray for Pope Francis as he continues to serve God and His people: Father of mercy, we come before you with gratitude for the fifty years of priesthood of Pope Francis, whom you have made Peter’s successor. Support him with the Spirit’s gifts, so that he can continue to preach the Gospel with priestly zeal and lead the Church with wisdom and strength and courage. May his example of long and faithful service be an inspiration to your priests and to all your faithful. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Catholic Extension Calendars
Hope is the theme for the 2020 Rejoice O’ Earth. Grow your faith with hopeful images, scriptures and prayers. Proceeds from calendars strengthen the presence and mission of the Catholic Church in under-resourced Catholic communities across the United States. We invite you to pick up a copy of the 2020 Catholic Extension Society Calendar. Calendars are also available in Spanish.
