News & Announcements

Marth and Mary

Join the Martha & Mary Women’s Group on Saturday, February 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the Emmaus House for a lively panel discussion: “Generations of Women Helping Women.” Four parishioners will share their experiences in forming new friendships, maintaining friendships during life’s busiest seasons and supporting one another through life changes. After the presentation we will break into small groups where we will share our experiences and brainstorm ideas to better connect with women of all ages. Check the Martha & Mary Bulletin Board in Bishop Newell Hall for more information and upcoming events.

Lenten Ladles Ministry Sign-up

Help us so we may continue to provide this simple meal and gather as community on Fridays during Lent. 4-6 people are needed each week to prepare soup, bread and/or mac-n-cheese (or other non-meat dish) and to set-up and clean-up. Signups are in Bishop Newell Hall. Collectively, volunteers will prepare for 50 attendees. Questions? Contact myra@newmancenter.org
