Parish Committees

Finance Council

The Parish Finance Council is advisory to the pastor and staff in the fiscal management of the parish. As well as bringing their expertise to the council, they are members who represent the parish.

The council meets between 5 and 8 times each year. There are 5 members, two of whom are the parish trustees/directors. Responsibilities include recommendations and guidance concerning fund raising, parish budgets, financial reports, personnel issues, etc.

The pastor appoints members and term of membership is 3 years, renewable for a second term.

Stewardship Committee

How do we develop among ourselves a stewardship spirituality that responds in a grateful, responsible and generous way to this fact?  To help us with this important question, St. Paul's Newman Center has a Parish Stewardship Committee.  Please feel to contact any member, as well as the parish office, if you have any suggestions, ideas, concerns or questions regarding Christian stewardship of our time, talents and financial resources.
