Infant Baptism

Anyone interested in having their baby baptized needs to attend a baptism preparation session. These sessions explore the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism and explain the Rite of Baptism. The purpose is to inform and support parents and godparents in the Christian role of sharing faith with  their children. The classes are a two-night time commitment that will be offered quarterly. Email Anthony Allen to register or with any questions.

The next session is offered:
Monday, May 8 at 6:00 p.m.and Tuesday, May 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fireplace Room

(attendance at both is required).

In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we experience the mercy and healing of our generous God.

Parents have the privilege and the responsibility of preparing their children for this sacrament.

Please see our Education & Formation page for more information. At the Newman Center, we

have the opportunity to receive and celebrate this sacrament every Wednesday and Saturday at

4:00 p.m. (Please note that Wednesday reconciliation is not celebrated over summer break).

First Eucharist

At the heart of the Christian experience of God lies the great celebration of the Eucharist. Preparing children to eat the Body of the Lord and drink the Blood of the Lord for the first time is given special emphasis at St. Paul's Newman

Center. Parents have the privilege and the responsibility of preparing their children for this

sacrament. Children need to have celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to celebrating

the Sacrament of the Eucharist. For more information please see our Education & Formation page.

Baptized members are asked to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation during their seventh

grade year. The spiritual formation process in preparation for this sacrament includes prayer,

learning, small group discussion, and service. Please see our Education & Formation page for

more information regarding Youth Confirmation. If you are 18 years of age or older, are a baptized

Catholic, and have celebrated the Sacrament of the Eucharist but for some reason were not

confirmed, please email Anthony to begin preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation.

We offer marriage preparation in both the fall (from September to early December) and the spring (from February through late April). Interested couples must complete (a) general sessions for all couples participating in the process, (b) meetings between the couple and a member of the parish to review the couple's FOCCUS results, an instrument designed to promote communication in married life, (c) at least one individual meeting with Fr. Rob and (d) a course on Natural Family Planning.

Please email Lynsey or call her at 307-745-5461 to begin this process.
