Music Ministry is central to our worship experience as Roman Catholic Christians. St. Augustine said, “Singing is for one who loves.” If, we are all created in love to love, then this statement is not reserved for a few, but is spoken to the entire community. We are all called through the Sacraments of Initiation to full, active and conscious participation in the liturgy. Music is a critical component in the assembly’s role as a worshiping community.

For the assembly to strive and grow as a unified prayerful people, especially in the context of Sunday Liturgy, we need music ministers who not only enjoy singing or playing an instrument, but ministers who are committed to perfecting their craft, assisting the assembly with musical integrity and helping to create/contribute to the beauty of the liturgy.
Whether a beginner or a professional, feel welcome to come and share your diverse gifts as you are trained to proclaim God’s word, understand more fully the cycle of the liturgy, and lead the assembly to deeper meditation on the Word of God.
