St. Paul's Newman Center Parish celebrates the activity of the Holy Spirit in our midst. Called into being by this Spirit, we strive to continue the mission of Jesus the Christ, by welcoming all into our Church. Together we attempt to stretch each other into the full stature of Jesus by boldly living the Good News and its implications.

Ash Wednesday Community Celebration
February 22, 2012
5:15pm Crane/Hill Complex (across from the Newman Center)

This is a beautiful celebration to begin the season of Lent
and the only time during the year that our entire
Newman Center Community gathers together.
Sign-ups for Liturgical Ministers are in Bishop Newell Hall
and a run-through for ministers is Sunday, February 19th at 12:15pm.
Plan to attend this beautiful Liturgy as we enter into preparation for Easter.
There will be a Mardi Gras dinner
February 21st in Bishop Newell Hall.
Come enjoy an incredible meal provided by Joe's Catering.
The meal will include Kansas City style
pulled pork sandwiches with 3 sides, dessert and beverage.
Proceeds will support alternative spring break trips
for students working among the poor in Kansas City
and Guatemala. Donations are welcome.
Tickets will be on sale after all Liturgies for $10
or Juli will have them avaiable in the parish office.
There will be silent auction items to bid on as well.
