Junior High:
EDGE is a dynamic youth ministry experience for those in grades seven through nine. The first Youth Mass and Edge Night for the semester will be September 11th. The youth mass begins at 5:30 pm. For more information contact Amy Deibert
There will be other things planned throughout the semester such as volunteer projects and extra activities.
Senior High Youth:
The Newman Center is pleased to offer FUSION for any student in 9-12 grade. The name reflects the philosophy of combining community building with practical ways to bring your faith into everyday activities. FUSION meets every Thursday night at 7:00 - 8:30 in the basement of the Emmaus House (second house in from the parking lot behind the church). Our themes this year will focus on transitioning our faith lives into school and extraciricular activities as well as touching on apalogetics and how to understand and defend our faith in a fair way. Of course, this is in the midst of fun activities, prayers and building a strong community with each other. Remember, youth ministry is the responsibility of the whole community - so high schoolers: please have an open heart to this opportunity, parents: help make religion a priority in your child's life and parishoners: pray for the growth of the ministry and advocate FUSION to any high schooler you may know.
