Becoming Catholic/RCIA

The process of Christian Initiations is a journey undertaken by those who feel called by God to full membership in the Roman Catholic Church and those who are not Catholic and are seeking more information and experience in the Church.  This journey of preparation has several stages and facets.  The process includes classes, rituals, prayer, discussion, spiritual guidance, and sponsor support.  The journey is unique for each individual and is designed and adapted to meet the special needs of people of various ages (adults, teenagers, children) and backgrounds.  This process climaxes (but does not end) as participants begin their sacramental life through Baptism (if not already baptized), Confirmation and Eucharist in the Catholic Church.
