Faith Formation

As a faith community serving the University of Wyoming, we take seriously our call to educate and form disciples. Faith formation is not a year of preparation for a sacrament. It is a lifetime of growth in understanding one’s faith and tradition, prepared to love more fully as Jesus taught.

Our children need to be formed in the faith that will strengthen their initial experience of God’s love in Christ Jesus. Pre-k through grade 6 gathers on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45. Faith First is the resource used for these sessions.

Teenagers are at a critical juncture of their lives. As they move toward independence they need the support and assistance of their faith community. The serious questions, issues and challenges they face need a faith response to counter the prevailing secularism of our society. Junior High students meet for EDGE at St. Laurence on Sundays. Senior High students meet for FUSION at St. Paul's Newman Center on Wednesday evenings.

There are a variety of opportunities for adults to continue their faith development. Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45 is a convenient opportunity for those attending a morning liturgy or who have children attending faith formation at the same time. Various retreats, evenings of reflection and speakers on campus provide opportunities for adults to grow in faith.

Please complete the electronic registration form below and prepare to grow, grow, and grow!
