Our God Lives: Family Faith Formation with Children

Mondays or Tuesdays

The hope and mission of “Our God Lives” is to offer a genuine and inclusive faith experience for the youngest members of St. Paul’s Newman Center. Parents and family members are invited and encouraged to stay and participate with their children to learn about Catholic values and teachings.


Sacramental Preparation for Children

Healing and Forgiveness: Reconciliation Preparation Class

This three session family program helps prepare students to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation during the Advent Season. Healing and Forgiveness will be held the following dates:

  • 6:00 p.m. – Thursday, October 6, 2016
  • 6:00 p.m. – Thursday, November 3, 2016
  • 6:00 p.m. – Thursday, November 10, 2016
  • First Reconciliation: Thursday, December 15 following daily Mass

Call to Celebrate: First Eucharist Preparation Class

A family program that helps prepare students for the Sacrament of First Eucharist, which is celebrated during the Easter Season. Call to Celebrate will be held on the following dates:

  • 6:00 p.m. – Thursday, January 26, 2017
  • 6:00 p.m. – Thursday, February 23, 2017
  • 6:00 p.m. – Thursday, March 30

Middle School Youth Ministry & Confirmation Preparation

Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. – Bishop Newell Hall

All youth in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades are invited to attend this integrative program to discuss faith topics and have fun! Focusing on scripture, the saints, Catholic morality, and the Sacraments, students will grow in their faith while preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

High School Youth Ministry

Sundays at 7:00 p.m. – Emmaus House

This program is for any students in ninth through twelfth grades.


Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. – Fireplace Room

Is God calling you to a deeper relationship with Him? Are you interested in exploring the possibility of becoming Catholic? St. Paul’s Newman Center would like you to explore these questions and consider joining our faith community. Sessions will begin on Thursday, September 29 at 7:00 p.m.

Diving Deep: Adult Faith Formation

Sundays at 9:30 a.m. – Emmaus House

This Scripture and faith-based study program allows resident parishioners a deeper look at the scriptures. All are welcome and no registration is needed; come whenever you can!
